Smart Home Blinds
Add app control, automatic schedules and voice-assistant compatibility so your shades work with the rest of your smart home.
About Smart Home Blinds
Smart home blinds are motorized shades connected to a hub so they can do more than move on a remote. Set a “Good Morning” scene that raises the bedroom shades at sunrise, schedule the living room to lower when the afternoon sun hits, or ask your voice assistant to close everything at bedtime. ShadeMates fits smart-home-ready motors and explains, in plain terms, what scenes, schedules and voice control can do — without overpromising a specific platform until we confirm what works for your setup.

Smart Home Blinds: common questions
Yes. We fit smart-home-ready motorized shades that support scenes, schedules and voice-assistant control through a compatible hub. Tell us which platform you use and we’ll confirm what’s possible for your setup.
They can move automatically on a schedule, respond to one-tap scenes that control several shades at once, be controlled from your phone at home or away, and — with the right hub — respond to voice commands.
Many popular voice assistants are supported through a compatible hub. Because platforms and hubs vary, we confirm compatibility with your specific system during your consultation rather than overpromising up front.
If your shades use smart-home-ready motors, you can usually add a hub for app, schedule and voice control. If not, we’ll discuss motorization options.
