- Repairs and replacements made with like or similar parts and products
What’s not covered
- Normal wear and tear
- Abuse, accidents, misuse or alterations to the product
- Exposure to the elements — sun, wind, water and moisture — and natural fading or discoloration over time
- Damage from not following our measurement, installation, cleaning or maintenance instructions
- On-site service calls and labour, shipping, and the cost of removal or re-installation
Being clear about the exclusions is part of doing right by you — window coverings are lived-with products, and the warranty covers how they’re made and how they work, not everyday wear or the effects of weather over time.

Your warranty covers the repair or replacement of covered parts. If a repair needs an in-home visit, a service-call and labour fee may apply — and we’ll always confirm it with you first, with no surprises.

Except where provincial or territorial law requires otherwise, ShadeMates Inc. and its affiliates limit their liability to the repair or replacement of the covered product, and are not responsible for removal, re-installation, shipping, or any economic loss or consequential damages.
